ACPRO National Standard for Entry to Practice (PDF): Consistent with our public protection mandate, ACPRO published a national standard for entry to practice requirements for practice in psychology.
Mutual Recognition Agreement of the Regulatory Bodies for Professional Psychologists in Canada (PDF): ACPRO members entered into a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) to comply with obligations under the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), Chapter 7 (Labour Mobility) in 2001 (amended 2004). The MRA established the conditions under which a psychologist licensed/registered to practice without supervision in one Canadian jurisdiction would have his/her qualifications recognized in another jurisdiction, including stating the core practice competencies and course work required for one to be eligible for licensure in Canada.
